SOLE OWNER LICENSE

 After five years when a license is required to continue the existing family business in the event of the absence (retirement) or death of the licensee, an immediate member of the family, actively engaged in the licensee’s business is eligible for a waiver of the examination and the existing number may be reissued to a surviving individual or corporation.

 You are entitled to a waiver of the examination! Other than a Joint Venture, or sponsorship, the license that you are associated with must be in good standing for not less than five of the past seven years. Upon approval of experience, the Registrar of Contractors may waive the examination approved for individuals.
